By introducing myself as Americaine.
Apparently, when talking with Chileans, it's necessary to use the term Norte Americana. Because that's really more specific, you know, there being 3 countries in North America and all...
Or Estado Unidan (?) which I'm pretty sure exists ni en francais ni en anglais.
In other news, today is Tuesday which is my day to go to the library and read Time magazine. Sadly, they still had last week's copy out, so I read Historia instead. Or, rather, pretended to read it but really looked at all the pictures. Whatever, it's not l
ike I don't do that with Time half the time anyway.
I think it's important to try and have routines. Like an example of this is that I watch Roue de la Fortune every night at 7:05 and yell at the TV. Also I should go for more walks. The problem, though, is that the weather is crap and also there's nowhere to walk.
2.5 half weeks until I leave more Madrid. I should be more excited, but I think honestly I'll just be relieved when it's time to go. Jonzac, tu m'ennuies.
French dating shows are so much nicer than American ones. Even after they're rejected they still say nice things about each other.
And finally: I don't understand how the French aren't extremely dehydrated all the time! They never carry water bottles with them, so they're not drinking water throughout the school day. And at meals they have one tiny, tiny glass of water, or else wine. And they add syrup to it! Which dehydrates you. I feel weird drinking as much eau as I do when I'm at meals with them, but it just feels so normal/healthy.
